We can barely contain our excitement about the release of the Panasonic's new mirrorless MFT (micro four thirds) camera, the Lumix GH5. This is the first mirrorless camera with 4K video at 60/50p. With these faster frame rates, filmmakers no longer have to sacrifice resolution to get slow motion or a simply a crispy, faster rate of capture. Panasonic took things further by adding internal 4:2:2 10-bit image capture for 4K video at up to 30 fps. The camera also boasts a 20.3-megapixel sensor, highly effective shake correction (which can compensate for up to five stops of shutter speed), an accurate Advanced DFD autofocus system that can lock on in just .05 seconds, and 6K PHOTO mode at 30 fps.
