In a crowded mirrorless market, it’s almost easy to forget about Nikon’s two new full frame camera offerings.
Jordan Drake at DPreview takes on the task of reviewing both the Nikon Z7 and the Nikon Z6 based on their video recording capabilities. Announced in August, early reviews of the Nikon Z7 have been good so far and camera tests have yielded some positive results. However, with the Nikon Z6 finally hitting stores, in this review, looks to be the camera of most interest for filmmakers.

Drake offers up some great insights into the Nikon Z7 and the Nikon Z6 in this video, including his thoughts on the ergonomics, the back LCD, the EVF viewfinder, the internal IBIS and the camera’s auto-focus capabilities. But the Z6 stands out for its video recording, Drake states, for its super sampled full frame and low light and high dynamic range video recording.
